Egyptian Colloquial Arabic ECA
Egyptian Colloquial Arabic (“Ameyya Masriyya”) is spoken by more than 100 million people, and is understood by a community more than 300 million in the Middle East due to famous and popular Egyptian movies, music, TV shows, and other forms of arts.
This course aims to develop your linguistic competence and performance in speaking Egyptian Colloquial Arabic (ECA). You will be able to communicate with people about numerous everyday subjects. Using a communicative approach, you will be encouraged to speak Egyptian Colloquial Arabic inside and outside the classroom: inside the classroom through exercises and interaction among classmates, and between the learners and the instructors; outside the classroom through assignments that engage learners in tasks that require them to interact with native speakers.
ECA course consists of 11 levels, ranging from Beginners to Advanced .
Each ECA level is 24 hours in total, and classes meet four days a week from Monday to Thursday, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (12 days x two-hours session).

The intensive course is an ideal choice for you if you want to learn Arabic as quickly as possible while studying abroad. This will give you the most class time and will allow you to fit more learning into a shorter space of time if you cannot be away from your home country for too long.
As well as the increased classroom time alongside your immersive trip abroad, you will have the option to tailor your lessons with additional modules so that you can start learning vocabulary that will help you in your future, either with your career or academic studies.
Intensive courses consist of 24 hours of teaching over three weeks, which is provided as four 2-hour classes per week (24 hours/ 3 weeks/ 2 hours a session/ 8 hours a week).

The long-term course is suitable for people already living and working in Egypt who want to study Arabic but not on a full-time basis. Long-term courses consist of 24 hours of teaching over six weeks, which is provided as two two-hour classes per week. (24 hours/ 6 weeks/ 2 hours a session/ 4 hours a week).
